The Palghat gap is a 30-40 kilometres wide gap in the Western Ghats. A small band of birders from Palghat (Palakkad) decided to join hands and explore its rich avian biodiversity some time in mid 2016. The surprises the GAP has thrown up seems never ending and there seems to be no let up. This blog is to bring before the world, the richness of the GAP's biodiversity.
